Privacy policy
Short version: if you sign up, we keep your email address so we can tell you when Botchd launches. That's it. No cookies, no analytics, no ads, no selling data.
Who we are
Botchd is made by Tommi Tuovinen, a sole trader in Finland (business ID 3309470-1). We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What this policy covers
This policy covers the website playbotchd.com and the launch notification list. The Botchd game app will get its own section here before it is released.
What we collect

We don't use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tools on this site.
Who handles the data
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and stores the sign-up list. Cloudflare may process data outside the EU, including in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slovenia, EU) serves the website's fonts through Bunny Fonts. Your browser connects to their servers to load the fonts. Bunny Fonts says it does not log or store personal data from these requests.
If we use an email delivery service to send the launch email, we will name it here before sending. We never sell or rent your data, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and no longer than 12 months after the launch email is sent. After that, we delete it. Cloudflare keeps its own security logs for a short time under its own policies.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- show you the data we hold about you,
- correct it or delete it,
- restrict or object to how we use it, or give it to you in a portable format,
- withdraw your consent. This doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
To unsubscribe or use any of these rights, email hello@playbotchd.com or reply to any email from us. We'll answer within one month.
If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Finnish Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Age
You need to be at least 13 years old to sign up for the launch list.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we'll ask for your consent again.
